Spread Shirt is our leading D2C Flagship brand, and your role will be essential to maintaining and improving the SCM process internationally.
Responsibilities:
- SCM Business Partner: Act as a strategic partner to all Commercial Business Units regarding supply chain management. Manage the scope from ad-hoc orders to large-scale projects, such as fulfilling orders ranging from 200 shirts for a single customer to comprehensive festival 360° merchandising.
- Fulfillment of BU Demand: Deliver necessary input to Business Units for accurate cost calculation in customer offers. Manage the process of finalizing Business Unit demand until it is "order-ready". Oversee both internal and external fulfillment of Business Unit demands, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Portfolio Management and Sourcing Expertise: Own the existing product portfolio and serve as an expert in sourcing new products and alternative suppliers. Continuously evaluate and optimize the supplier base to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Consultancy on Refinement Technologies and Merchandising Solutions: Provide consultation and recommendations on refinement technologies and merchandising solutions to enhance product offerings and customer experience.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Lead the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring seamless integration.
- Contract Management: Handle contracts, including NDAs, frame contracts, etc., ensuring compliance and protecting the interests of the company.
- Negotiations: Conduct negotiations with suppliers on pricelists, assortment catalogues, and other terms to achieve favorable outcomes for the business.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to fulfillment and merchandise sourcing.
Skills Needed:
- Supply Chain Management Expertise: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and fulfillment processes, with the ability to optimize operations and drive efficiency.
- Academic Background: University Degree in a relevant or transferable field to SCM, Engineering or others.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans to support business objectives, anticipating future needs and challenges.
- Vendor Management: Proven experience in managing supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and problem resolution.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers across different functions and levels.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and delivery of results.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to resolve complex problems.
- Knowledge of Fashion eCommerce: Familiarity with the fashion eCommerce industry, including trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and environments, remaining flexible and agile in response to new challenges or opportunities.
