Intro:

Select Alternative Investments operates as a Direct Investments Platform with a focus on Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital. Our primary goal is to identify private investment opportunities alongside our investors and grant access to our proprietary deal sourcing. All investment structures are developed in-house by our team of investment professionals, who are strategically located in Singapore, Zurich, Vienna, and Ho Chi Minh City. As our business continues to grow rapidly, we are actively searching for a self-driven and highly motivated colleague to join our global team.

Tasks

Position Overview:

As a Sales Director in our private equity firm, you will play a crucial role in raising capital from various investor groups. Your responsibilities will include direct engagement with high net worth individuals, single family offices, multi-family offices, asset managers, and other intermediaries. Additionally, you’ll oversee sales activities, execute outreach campaigns, organize investor events, maintain our CRM system, and monitor the competitive landscape.

Capital Raising:

  • Present investment opportunities and articulate the value proposition of our private equity offerings. Position our investment products effectively within the market.
  • Facilitate investment discussions, answer inquiries, and address investor concerns during capital raising process.
  • Bring and/or build own client base and cultivate relationships with high net worth individuals and single family offices.
  • Collaborate with multi-family offices, asset managers, and other intermediaries to develop partnerships and distribution channels to expand our investor base.

Sales Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track sales performance, pipeline, and conversion rates.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management.

Outreach Campaigns:

  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to attract potential investors.
  • Utilize digital channels, events, and personalized communication.

Investor Events:

  • Plan and coordinate investor events, conferences, and seminars.
  • Ensure seamless logistics, engaging content, and positive attendee experiences.
  • Leverage events to build relationships and showcase investment opportunities.

CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of investor interactions in CRM system and use CRM data to enhance investor engagement strategies.
  • Segment investor lists for tailored communications.

Competitive Landscape Monitoring:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Analyse competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and investor preferences.
  • Provide insights to guide our sales and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 5 – 10 years of work relevant work experience in sales & capital raising
  • Proven track record in capital raising, ideally within the private equity or alternative investment industry.
  • Strong network of investor contacts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets.
